This pic has been analyzed by Bad Ghosts.uk and I really would like you guys to take a look at the article and picture. What really caught my attention is that it was taken with a phone camera. Given that we had an experiment with 'ghostly' camera phone pics a while back, I read the article avidly and really liked the way they analyze the pic, especially towards the end. Take a look and see if you agree with their final analysis.

Very interesting, Patty. Though I am no expert on cameras and cam shots, the explanation does make perfect sense. For my simple brain, if you cover up the "head," you can clearly see that it's just light hitting the tree in an odd way. Cover up the light parts and the head and feet are simply parts of the tree. Very easy to see how light and shadow distort things in the human mind!

Yes, I agree with their conclusions. I can see why he thought it was a ghostly figure, though-those tree roots look awfully like shoes.

I thought it was obvious in all honesty, lots of things give it away. Good analysis by bad psychics though.

Now I didn't see it as obvious-do you think this is because I am artistic and think with the right side of my brain??? I can see faces in just about anything I look at, from my bathroom rug, to the shower glass. And NO-I do not think they are paranormal-LOL!!!

Good point hdhse, I am sure that an individual's perception has a lot to do with how we interpret things like this. I once met a family who wanted to believe in ghosts so much that they thought the moon's reflection in their pond was a ghost! (And no I didn't just make this up!)

But as you say about being artistic, it is like an artist looks at a street and sees a masterpiece waiting to be painted, the rest of us however just see a street.

WOW! I do believe in ghost in general. The photo could have been something to do with the digital camera or the film, hard to say. Look into the history of that exact area and if you find something that happened in the past then you may convince me. Good luck!
