As i have mentioned in the past, my dreams are like an LSD trip. No joke.
I can dream so many dreams a night it's unreal and sometimes annoying.
Anyway, one dream which stood out for me is something which happened few months ago. It was part-lucid (if that's possible) and was amazing.

I was in the garage of my old house and I was a young mother. Before i started to lucid dream, i looked around to sort of establish myself and then i knew i was dreaming! Gosh, it was so weird. I told myself to walk over to a work top and pick up a portrait of my son which was lying down. Now, if anyone has heard of the Baby P case, this was my son! But he was surrounded by two other children who were my own - all blonde.

I could feel the weight of the photo frame in my hand and i definitely was able to control myself. I walked out of the garage and into the house and on the kitchen counters were two cakes. I told myself to walk over to the cake and i kind of nipped a bit of the icing off to eat :p Tasted lovely Smile

However, these cakes were in the shape of winnie the pooh and were for my son. Aw, it was quite sweet actually. Then i walked through to the kitchen and started talking to my father who was much older in the dream.

Anyway, I know it doesn't sound like much but i think it was definitely a bit lucid.

What do you think? Very Happy

(p.s. This is the official thread of FOLM's crazy dreams!)

x

Wow how crazy, especially the baby P thing! I have no idea what to make of the dream, but in my experience the more you train yourself to remember dreams the better your memory becomes. And judging by how well you've remembered this, even down to picking off the icing, if my theory is correct then you should have a really sharp memory. Is that the case?

Fascinating! Keep 'em coming.

Aw Smile
Well, Ruby, I don't know if that's the case, LOL! I remember the wrong things, kind of. Sort of the little details rather than the important stuff. But here's a thing which i haven't told anyone about so listen up:

It's like I can mind map but with my surroundings. For example, the other day I was googling stuff about the queen and her history through wikipedia and somehow, everytime I go down a street in my town, i remember exactly what I read. (In this case, the fact that her Uncle abdicated to marry an American socialite which left the throne to his brother i.e. her dad)

Weird, isn't it? I didn't even think of the street when I was reading it. I've done this lots of times before, it mainly happens with conversations.

As for the memory, I recently accidentally put a bag of frozen veg into a cupboard for my dad to find it in the morning. I didn't even remember doing it! But in some ways you are right; I remember the things others don't but I'm completely lost when it comes to important things. Smile

Thanks Patty, lovely to see you here x
