My partner went for a past life regression today. The session lasted 2 hours and was taped. He uncovered 3 past lives, though it seems there were many more, so I can see a 2nd visit happening some time in the future. I listened to the tape and found it fascinating. Thought you might like to read about what happened so I've copied out the first one. Will post the other two during the week.
1825 Jack aged about 20:
My friends have all gone. They're not here and they should be. The place is deserted and I'm looking for them. Over the road I can see lots of wood and veranda's sticking out. (High street, quite a lot of buildings like in a small town ... american ranch style) plain wood not painted, hanging signs, sandy, gravely road. Might be called Grave something. Gravesend maybe? The road name might be the same as town name. The town is quite deserted. I work for the grain house. It's near my house about 3 minutes walk away.
I'm wearing long socks, short trousers, a jacket which is a bit scruffy, a tweedy one. A peaked flat cloth cap (big floppy musty green), shirt buttoned up to the neck, no tie.
Friends were working in the grain house. I worked in the office and was trying to contact people for work. Deliveries or something. There must have been an accident with the grain. I ran down there. I think I was the only one who didn't die. They've all gone. There's my boss, he feels sorry for me but he is devastated as well. I just feel devastated, total loss.
Q Do you have any family? No. I've never known any family.
Q Who raised you? I was in a horrible house (workhouse) until my boss took me on as part of his family.
Q Do you recognise him in this life? No.
Q Was there anyone you cared for, wife, girlfriend etc? My girlfriend Susan died in the grain. She worked in the house. My bosses house. My address is 19 Short street.
Next significant event in that lifetime:
I'm on a small boat on a lake. Coniston lake. Fishing with a friend, Rupert. He's a nice bloke. He's retired now. I think I'm 54 or maybe 64?
Q Do you live in Cumbria then? Yes.
Q Where? At the side of the lake in a small house. It's comfortable. The house might be called Starlight, or that might just be what I call it. It's on an old track.
Q What brought you there from Gravesend? Gravesend wasn't far away. Didn't want to live too far from Gravesend. I could never move too far. It was just home.
Q Do you still keep in contact with your boss? No he died.
Q What's his name? Jonathan Miller. He died maybe 15 years ago. I don't really miss him. He was a bit bitter and twisted at the end. He lost his mill and the grain. Never really recovered after the accident. People blamed him for the deaths. It probably was his fault. Some say it was and some say it wasn't. He didn't maintain the building. Some shaft broke down.
Q What happens next?
We're drinking out of bottles and laughing a lot. I'm not really interested in the fishing. We didn't bring ale cos we needed too much. Got some Irish drink, clear and strong. It's Rupert's. We're laughing and joking. He's dropped his rod in the lake. The boat tips over when he's trying to get his rod. I just can't breathe, it's dark. I can see the moon through the water. Rupert survives. He pulled me out but it was too late.
Go to the place in between lives when you left your body. Can you describe it?
I can't really see. It's blinding light. White, so bright, dazzling.
Q How do you feel? I feel weightless, warm, dry, comfortable. Energy is pouring into me. People keep greeting me and smiling at me. 15 or 20 people, some feel more important than others. I recognise some. My Mum (in my present life), she was called Sarah before.
Q Where was she Sarah. Which lifetime? 1600 and something.
Q Recognise anyone else? A man, he's near the back. He's old and distinguished. We've had many a good time together in different lives. I think it's Ruby.
Q Are there any people around who will be with you in your next life? I'm sure he'll be there! (Ruby)
Q What was the purpose of your life as Jack? I think what I learnt is that you can have everything to nothing in the blink of an eye, and it doesn't mean anything.

Thanks Judy. Yes, it's kinda nice to know that we might have a link through the ages.
He said that the therapist did a test run hypnotism first, to see how easy or not it was going to be and then she varied her method accordingly.
Jann and Jenn LOL are you twins? I'll copy the information given on the therapists website below. I would look for someone who belongs to a registered body of hypnotherapists. And I guess other than that, all you can really do is go with someone who at least sounds as if they understand the ethical aspects, as this one does ...
I am a qualified Past Life Therapist and fully accredited member of the Past Life Therapists Association.
My code as an honest practitioner:
PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT:
I will at all times maintain an ethical and professional relationship with you. I will not abuse your trust for my own personal benefit.
If you are under 18, I cannot provide a reading for you.
MY RIGHT TO REFUSE:
I reserve the right to refuse any reading request (or part or question thereof). I do not have to disclose why, but often do.
Please note I cannot answer questions about third parties or their motives if I consider it not to be for the greater good.
CONFIDENTIALITY:
I will hold all written and verbal communication with you in strict confidence.
HONESTY:
I will interpret a reading to the best of my ability and will honestly admit when I cannot interpret something. I will always tell the truth, but not impose information on you that you have clearly indicated that you do not wish to know or explore further.
NON-JUDGMENT:
I will always provide readings with compassion and in a non judgemental manner.
EXPERTISE:
I will offer you the benefit of my experience, however.. I will not give advice in areas for which I am not qualified. If you require a doctor, psychologist, solicitor/lawyer, financial adviser, accountant, or any other professional service for which I am not qualified, I will encourage you to seek such service from someone who is.
RESPONSIBILITY:
My goal is to allow you to take responsibility for your own decisions and actions, and to act according to your own conscience for the greater good of all concerned. I will not give shocking or distressing news.
EMPOWERMENT:
The future is not carved in stone and you have the power to change your future! I will strive to help you leave a reading feeling empowered to make practical, life-affirming decisions and/or changes.
UPLIFT:
I will strive to make each reading a blessing for everyone involved. I will be encouraging and try to leave you with a sense of renewed strength and hope. I will therefore, endeavour to make each reading end on a positive and encouraging note.
INDEPENDENCE:
I will not let you become overly dependent upon my services, nor pressure you for return visits. I often refuse readings and refund money to people if a reading is requested too soon after a previous one.

Here is my partners 2nd past life that came up. I think he got his dates wrong on this one though! LOL ... I'm off to research some of the names etc that he came up with now. There's quite a bit to go with on this one!
It's 1357
Q What's the date? About 1400
Q Look down at your feet and what do you see? I've got pointy shoes on. I'm female. 30 years old. I'm Isabelle Brown.
Q Can you describe yourself? I've got a ruffled skirt going down to my feet that trails along the floor. It's striped, very thin stripes. I have this bodice thing that is really tight. It's hard to breathe, but we have to smile and pretend it doesn't matter. I've got a very wide brimmed hat with a ribbon on the top. It's all for show though!
Q Why is it all for show? Don't know. You have to make others see that you're important.
Q Are you from an important family? Yes. They count money. They lend money to people. People must think that we have money.
Q Do you have money? More than we know what to do with!
Q Where are you? What's the name of the place you're in? It's Brixton in London.
Q Where exactly do you stand? It's like a cobbled street. People walk with funny umbrellas like parasols.
Q What's the name of the street? Kentish something.
Q Where do you live? Portman House. I think it's in Fulham.
Q And why are you in Brixton today? Who's with you? I'm with my sisters. Margaret, I'm with Margaret most of the time. And Daisy is my younger sister. She doesn't take things very seriously (laughing).
Q What are you fulfilling today? What are you there to do? I have to make people feel comfortable. Talk to them, make them feel at ease, reassure them that everything's gonna be ok.
Q Do you recognise either of your sisters as anyone you know today? Not really no.
Q Is today a successful day? Father's pleased at the end of the day. We've done lots of business here. My brother made some foolish moves though. He advised an important family to invest in the wrong area. We all knew it was wrong. He wanted to make more money. He'll have to live with the consequences. My father says he'll have to foot the bill if it goes wrong.
Q What's your brothers name? Philip.
Q What's your fathers name? Reginald. Reginald? I never hear him called that!
Q Are you married? Yes, to Stuart.
Q What was your maiden surname? Parker.
Q Where did you grow up. Your family house? I think it was Old Kent road but I can't remember the house.
Q Was it a big house. Can you describe it? Yes it was big. It was whitewashed. It had lots of small windows. The higher up the smaller they are. There are extra windows at the top which are secret to save money somehow. We have to pay for windows so we have some that aren't on show. There are no windows at the back, they're all at the front and some in the roof that no one knows about.
Q Was it like a tax on windows? Yes.
Q Can you remember the name of that? Smithside.
Q Did you have a happy childhood? Ugh, some of it was good. It was good with my sisters, but my parents were strict. They wanted the best for us all. Daisy just laughs. She laughs whenever she gets told off.
Q Did you have a favourite sister? Not really. I didn't really get on with my brother though. Too foolish!
Q Are you quite serious as Isabelle? Yes.
Q How did you meet Stuart? My father introduced us.
Q How did he know Stuart? His father had a bank. Lloyds of London.
Q Do you think your father arranged it strategically? I think everything my father does has an ulterior motive. He never relaxes.
Q Are you happy in marriage to Stuart? It does feel like a marriage of convenience.
Q Do you have a love for him? Yes he's nice. He's very kind to me.
Go forward to your next significant event as Isabelle.
Stuart's in bed. He's ill. He has a fever. We have maids running everywhere. We all know he isn't going to last the night.
Q What year is it? 89.
Q How are you feeling? I feel very sad. The curtains are drawn and he's not even dead!
Q Is anyone comforting you? No.
Q Do you have any children? They're being taken care for by Janet our maid, but they should be asleep now.
Q What are their names? Sarah and Michael. Michael's 6 and Sarah's 10.
Go forward to your next significant event.
I'm in the same bed that Stuart was in. Sarah's by my side. Michael's out of the room. Michael's 40 now, 42, he's not coping well. I'm just too old to care anymore. I've got no energy left.
Q Do you have a specific illness? No, just too old.
Q Have you been in bed long? Maybe a week, maybe a month.
Q Is Sarah caring for you? Yes, she's always looked after me.
Q Do you recover? No.
Q You have a choice whether you experience your death as Isabelle. Do you want to? No.
Go to that place in between lives. Do you recognise anybody there from your present life? No. I don't recognise people now.
Q What do you feel was your life purpose as Isabelle? I think it's that I know you shouldn't trust people for their appearance. There are more rogues who dress well than common people.
