First I have a question. Are there any dogs there because that's what it looks like by the table

I see what you mean, it does look like a dog. I have no idea whether they ever have dogs in there, but I've never seen one before.

But seeing as how they were in the process of clearing out that room for the refurb, I suspect that it's something like a rug or blanket just thrown down in a heap.

It does have the look of a dog, Danay- but on closer inspection it does appear to be what Ruby says, a blanket or rug left on the floor, it's pretty formless.

I believe it's a rug.
