There have been lots of stories of 'Champ' over the years and photos, but this video obtained by ABC News has resurfaced and has people asking themselves: "What is in the water?"

I, for one, am an avid 'Nessie' and all her cousins, fan! The thing here is that there is really no tangible evidence (carcass washed ashore, and so on) and scientists on a general rule scoff at the ideas of lake monsters. I don't really think that these could be pleisosaurs as suggested in this article, but have my own theory, which just makes sense to me. What if there is some kind of species in the water (we must think about this and ponder, because the water, after all is not our normal habitat, and some places are so VERY deep) that is some kind of long-necked seal or otter? Ok, I'm a romantic, or very stupid, but it could be a possibility! There is so little that has actually been studied in oceans or large (huge) lakes, that I can see where there may be a species yet unknown to man, couldn't there?
