Interesting article, Patty. I would agree with most of it.

The only confirmations I've had are
1) Through mediums telling me or a relative about the lives our loved ones are having now. For example, my sister was told that Mum rides her bike and goes dancing in her spirit life. These were some of the things she loved to do in her earthly life, but maybe didn't get to do as much as she would have liked- letting off steam, if you like. These experiences with mediums usually showed that our loved ones were enjoying things that they liked to do on earth- maybe in some cases as a way of recovering when they passed over? And that they wanted to reassure us that they were OK now. After Mum died, a medium told my niece that Mum just wished she could give us all a big hug --- she must have known how emotional her death had been for us all.
2) I've had dreams about my mum and my mother-in law in which we were spending time together and enjoying ordinary things. My mother-in-law showed me some dresses she'd bought (she loved nice clothes) and was trying them on to show me. In the other dream my mum and I sat companionably together, just passing the time of day in a contented way. Both dreams were in an earthly setting, and were really vivid, but they were not, I believe, "earthly dreams". I interpret these dreams as both of them letting me know they are happy, and that problems they had in their earthly lives are not part of their new existence. In both cases I awoke with a smile, knowing all is well with them now. I don't think I "brought these dreams on" by thinking about them, as they were both unexpected dreams at the time.

I've had many many dreams of my father, grandfathers and uncle, who have all passed on. While I remember sobbing uncontrollably in the dreams, I have always awoken feeling peaceful and, well, happy.

Yes, I think that's the idea behind them.

I will surely read the article. I have already bookmarked it. Nopes, I have never been visited by dead loved ones. So many people have died in the family, but none has tried to get in contact with us.
