I think I can see feet at the bottom of the stairs!

I can't see anything at the bottom of the stairs themselves. Do you mean right on the stairs or that shadowy patch to the left?

I can see a lot of weird stuff to the left, but to be honest there are lots of dark patches on the wall there, which when combined with dark shadows often cause illusions.

It could be I'm looking in the wrong place though, so let us know exactly where you mean.

Oh up the top of the stairs! Yes I can kind of see something there. It sort of looks like it's leaning out away from the balcony.

It's such a tricky area as it's so dark and shadowy, and we get such a lot of pixel distortion going on there that it makes it really hard to be conclusive. But I also caught something there last week that I thought might possibly be paranormal, so perhaps there is something lingering?

There is also some thing on the bottom floor just to the right of that door way too!

Oh ok, I think you have your first and ground floors mixed up! LOL. Well, as I said before, I think the patches and shadows can explain that one.

Here is quite a good example of the stair shadows. During the day you can clearly see the magnitude of the shadows cast by the stairs, add to that the pixels jumping around in the dark, all competing for any available light and it's not hard to see how an illusion is made.

The shadows here are pretty interesting, but I agree that the night camera has a lot of distortion, the blue stripes through it can also cause some pretty crazy illusions. Ruby thank you for posting the daytime photo, I have saved it for reference in the future

I agree as well, well done for posting a cap - Ordsall Hall is a very interesting place, but sometimes what we capture there is not always what we think, but I am sure that there are spirits there and maybe, just maybe one day, one of us will have a picture that will definitely prove that spirits exist.
