This is an image that I captured, back at the first of the year, using the Ordsall Hall cam.....located in the Great Hall.

This looks to be a young man sitting at the table with his head bowed, as if in prayer, before dinner.

The details of the young man are so very clear! You can see everything from the style of his hair, to the collared coat that he's wearing.

You can see the detail of his eyes, nose, mouth, cheeks, ears, forehead, and hairline.

I believe that if you knew this man....you would recognize him!

You can also see that he is wearing a white shirt under his collared overcoat.

The first capture is of normal size.

The second photo has been enlarged to show the young man and all of his detail.

This is one of my favorite images, that I have captured at Ordsall Hall.

I can see what you mean, Phantom, it does look like a figure there, but I see it has a cartoonish appearance to it, I wonder if there is something on the chair that is causing an illusion? Because in your close up, I can also see someone sitting in the chair next to this one? Do you see it?
Intriguing cap, by the way! Very Happy Thanks for putting it up! Very Happy

At first glance it gave me a bit of a wow! But on closer inspection I have to agree with Patty that it does have that rather cartoonish quality of a pixel illusion. It's a great one though! Thanks for showing it to us Phantom.

The picture is very interesting. If there is no prop sitting in that chair, then wow! Great cap.

Thanks for your comments. I appreciate you.

Although....I really don't know why the capture seems "cartoonish" to you, but that's ok.

To me it actually looks as though someone is sitting there. I am posting a photo of the dining table area so that you can see the chairs there.

Hope that this helps.

The chairs at the table seem to be large heavy wooden dining chairs.

neat looking.... looks like something is sitting in the chair to make it look like a ghosty...

well after looking at the pic of it during the day, & then the cap you took, it does look like something is there...

Awesome...

Thanx for all your comments!

No....I didn't even notice someone sitting in the chair on the right! Thanx so much for noticing that!!

I was so aimed on looking at the young man praying....that I didn't even look at the other chair. Good spotting, Pattyhap! Thanx!

And thanx Reptile3 for your comments. I appreciate you...Ruby...and Thunder, as well.

I can see the figure there. Pixels or not that's a great cap.

Thanks so much for putting that pic up, Phantom! I really appreciate it!
I so wish there was more light at night on the Ordsall Cam, as I love it but the lack of proper lighting makes it really difficult to see!!! And it gets really pixelated! I agree there seems to be something there, I just hope it isn't the pixie pixels causing an illusion!
Could I try to clean it up for you and enhance it later to get a better view, Phantom?

Ok, here is my enhancement. I did the best I could, the yellow box is distorting the image around the edges...

I do see something there, but I know that they sometimes leave dolls in the chairs, could this be one of them, just wondering...?

WOW...Thanx Patty for enhancing my capture. It looks great!!

Well....I only know of a stuffed cat that is placed on the bed in the Star Chamber room...and I've heard of a stuffed dog in the kitchen, that you can only see if you visit the hall in person.

When I posted this capture, at the Ordsall Forum, back in January....no one ever mentioned that they thought that it might be a doll or something. Everyone saw what I saw......and thought that it was a true apparition.

I just recently re-posted it on the Ordsall Forum, because the cam is down and I wanted to post something.

One of the forum members told me that they remembered this particular capture of mine....and told me that I needed to go post it on Ghostsamongus.....

.......So I did.......

Thanx again for enhancing my capture!

Fabulous.....thanx!!
